Take a stroll on the wooden paths through Shimane’s largest alder tree forest, and enjoy seasonal flowers such as buckbeans in spring, and lobelia sessilifolia in autumn. The wetland is also a sanctuary for precious species of fauna, including the Scarlet Dwarf dragonfly (also known as the fairy dragonfly).
